I’ve always known my commitment to my art would make life difficult for me, and that gaining recognition would be an uphill battle. I’m a working-class queer person of color. When I started exhibiting at the tender age of fourteen, my artwork carried the same message of equality and empathy that it does today. Because many of these subjects remain as controversial today as they were then, the same regard has applied to my artwork through the years, limiting opportunities for its exposure and recognition If you appreciate my artwork and would like to help me advance my progressive visual messages, your financial assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Your gift will help pay for art supplies, storage, documentation, art preservation, exhibitions, transportation, and essential studio utilities.
Thank you in advance for your kind generosity.
